Just read about this article from Telecoms.com website about research firm Gartner warning operators to stay forcus on their core business rather then distracted through efforts to transform into media companies.
Gartner warned that more than half of these new approaches will fail because many carriers only have a limited knowledge of their existing subscriber base and often do not understand the new business models.
